Below are some of the most frequently asked questions patients have about dentistry and oral health issues.  If you have any other questions, or would like to schedule an appointment, we would love to hear from you.

Do you accept my insurance?

Swanson Dentistry accepts all insurance plans.  Ask us to call your dental insurance plan to check on the benefits available to you.  We are preferred providers with a number of plans:  Delta Dental, BlueCross-BlueShield, and Metlife.  In the event we are not a preferred provider for your managed plan group, still ask us to call.  Frequently the amount your insurance company will pay for out-of-network services atare not much different than what they pay to a preferred provider.  We are happy to help you understand your insurance plan and maximize your benefits. 

 

Can I make monthly payments?

Yes, we do offer monthly payments because we understand the financial burden that dental care can sometimes create.  To manage your monthly payments we employ CareCredit who has both no-interest and low-interest monthly payment plans available.  We do not offer in-house monthly payment plans; however, we do offer a financial coordinator who is trained to help you design the best payment arrangement for your situation.

 

Do I have to pay before my insurance does?

At the time of your service, we ask that you pay your estimated portion of the fee.   it is often difficult to predict the exact amount insurance will pay; therefore, after the insurance payment is posted into your account you may receive a statement for any remaining balance or a refund for any credit balance.  

 

Do we have to pay at the time of treatment?

Yes, your portion of the treatment fee is due at the time service is rendered.  In the case of dental insurance, your estimated portion of the fee is due at the time of service.  Of course, it is often difficult to predict the exact amount insurance will pay; therefore, after the insurance payment is received you may receive a statement for any remaining balance or a refund for any credit balance.  There are payment options available that can
