Does Swanson Dentistry see children?

Yes, we welcome children 3 years of age up and strongly recommend that children start their regular preventive care at age 3 years. Prior to your child's first visit, we invite them to visit the office, meet our team, ride in our magic chair, and see all the fun they will have when they come to the dentist.

Can I get a price for a service?

Yes, we are more than happy to give you an estimated price range over the phone; however, without an actual oral examination, a range is the best estimate we can give to you.  If you have an exam in our office, we are able to give you a more accurate estimate as well as estimate your insurance coverage.  We can also discuss available financial options.  We want to help you understand your charges and insurance prior to your treatment.

Do you do root canals?

Yes, we do root canals or what we call endodontic therapy.  Occasionally, under extremely unusual conditions, we must refer our root canals to an endodontist (root canal specialist).   The majority are done here in our office.

Can you sedate me for my treatment?

We are able to relax you using nitrous oxide and premedication; however, we are not able to put you completely "out" in our practice.  Any treatment needing full sedation, we usually refer out of the practice to a specialist.  We are most fortunate to have such a specialist right next door.
